In accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("PDPL"), any information related to a specific or identifiable real person is defined as personal data. Your personal data, as described below, may be recorded in our systems, modified, reorganized, transferred within legal limits, classified, and updated, and may be processed in accordance with the conditions stipulated in the PDPL.

What Personal Data Do We Collect?
The information we need can vary depending on the nature of the rental process, damage status, the use of customer loyalty programs, campaigns used, and requested services. Below, you can find these pieces of information grouped into categories:
Identity: Name-surname, signature, Turkish ID number, date of birth, driver's license, ID card, passport photocopies, etc.
Contact: Phone number, email address, address, etc.
Customer Transaction Information: Vehicle delivery form, rental agreement, detailed information about the rental process (fuel, date, use of toll systems, etc.), policy information, historical rental information in our company, flight information, etc.
Financial: Credit card information, payment details, Findeks information, etc.
Audio and Visual Records: Call center recordings, office video camera recordings.
Transaction Security Information: Usernames and passwords created for website or mobile application use, etc.
Marketing: Surveys, cookie records, rental history, preferences for campaigns and offers, etc.
Legal Proceedings, Criminal Convictions, and Security Measures: Traffic fines, information related to criminal investigation processes, correspondence with judicial authorities, records, etc.
Vehicle: Information about damaged vehicles in case of accidents or damages, information about other vehicles involved in the accident, license plate information, information related to vehicle usage.
Damage: Damage information, accident investigation reports, damage photos, expert reports.
Health: Alcohol reports in case of accidents, health reports related to personal health status, and disability information.
What Are the Purposes of Processing Your Personal Data?
Your personal data can be collected automatically or non-automatically through RereCar and its branches, dealers, call centers, affiliated companies, partner or supplier firms, or through our website, social media channels, mobile applications, camera systems available for security during your visits to RereCar branches, verbally, in writing, or electronically.
a) Conducting rental offer, reservation, and sales processes, processing payments, conducting delivery-return processes, including damage and recourse processes, conducting post-sale support processes, evaluating requests and complaints, confirming identity, conducting insurance processes, managing relationships with business partners and/or suppliers, conducting customer relations processes, providing necessary information to customers within the scope of rentals, creating and using customer accounts.
b) Carrying out legal transactions and processes, sharing information with authorized public institutions and organizations within the framework of legislation, managing internet access records, and ensuring data security.
c) Recording voice calls during the call center process, requesting Findeks information from customers, determining payment capability, conducting financial background checks, preventing abuse, providing vehicle protection services, planning and executing risk management, conducting necessary audit and control processes within the scope of company activities, enabling the functionality of internet sales platforms.
d) Contacting customers as part of marketing activities related to our products and services, sending commercial electronic messages, presenting personalised offers, conducting analysis, surveys, and satisfaction studies, planning and/or executing product and/or service loyalty processes, conducting marketing processes tailored to the interests of customers within the scope of cookie activities.
Who Can Your Personal Data Be Transferred to and for What Purposes?
Your personal data may be transferred for the purposes of commercial operations, in a connected, limited, and proportionate manner, in accordance with the necessities of commercial life, to the following individuals/organizations only to the extent required by the processing conditions specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the Personal Data Protection Law ("PDPL"):
Therefore, Rerecar may process your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law and in compliance with its legal obligations, as well as to provide you with better service, in the manner specified in the PDPL, in conjunction with Rerecar, its branches, sub-agents, and other relevant individuals and organizations.
How and for What Legal Reasons Are Your Personal Data Collected?
Your personal data is collected by our Company directly from you, our customers, through non-automatic means or through electronic media by non-automatic means or via public institutions and organizations through means such as the website, mobile application, e-mail, call center, company representatives, our business partners, Rerecar offices, electronic media, internet correspondence, and face-to-face meetings, depending on the nature of the processing.
We use your personal data within the framework of the legal reasons specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the PDPL, depending on the nature of the processing.
Rights of the Data Subject as per Article 11 of the PDPL As data subjects, if you submit your requests regarding your rights in accordance with the nature of your request to Rerecar through the methods specified in this Information Note, Rerecar will conclude your request as soon as possible and no later than thirty days free of charge. However, if the transaction also requires a separate cost, you may be charged a fee according to the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board.
In this context, data subjects have the right to:

Kamera recordings taken for security reasons during your visits to Rerecar and its branches can only be shared with the Prosecutor's Office upon their decision.

Our Company reserves the right to charge a fee in accordance with the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board for requests regarding the fulfilment of requests related to application requests.
